          Biography

          Gustaf (Berggren) Pasch is Notable.

          Gustaf Erik Pasch was known by the surname Berggren up until 1806 when he took the surname of his stepfather Christian Pasch.

          He was a Swedish inventor and professor of chemistry at Karolinska institute in Stockholm and inventor of the safety match. He was born in Norrköping, the son of a carpenter.
